Use KingStar as any other high-quality embroidery threadno need for a special needle or slower running speeds. KingStar Metallic threads are colorfast and will not fade on your garment or project. KingStar Metallics has a polyester core wrapped in rice paper with a metallic finish. The high-quality thread doesn’t kink as it unwinds from the spool and runs smoothly through the thread pre-tensioners, resulting in fewer thread breaks and higher-quality embroidery.

While KingStar Metallic has a beautiful embroidery stitch, we do not recommend it for long-arm quilting.
