These bright red skeins are ideal for the Melt the ICE hats! Available in knitting and crochet options, these hats are based off of traditional Norweigian hats worn in the 1940s as a form of visual resistance against Nazi occupation. Today, they’ve seen a revival as a symbol of opposition to ICE and solidarity with immigrants and other affected communities. All sales from both patterns go towards immigrant aid organizations in the Twin Cities- crafting for a cause!
